Tim Wilson

President

Tim Wilson served as the executive director of Western Arts Alliance (WAA), the regional performing arts market, from 1997 to 2022. At WAA, Tim spearheaded initiatives to support marginalized artists and communities, including the Advancing Indigenous Performance program. In 2023, Tim founded Starlet Farm to further his passion for artist development. He manages Karnatik singer and composer Aditya Prakash, Moroccan-Andalusian ensemble Seffarine, and genre-defying The Third Orchestra (London). Project development clients include Ghanaian singer/songwriter Okaidja Afroso, Singapore-based Karnatik singer Sushma Soma, and The Tapi Project (Surat, India).

Early in his career, he spent eight years as a program manager for Sealaska Heritage Institute, the tribal foundation serving the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian people of Southeast Alaska, and later served as Executive Director of the Alaska State Council on the Arts.
