Florian Raqueño

Director

Florian Raqueño is a communications professional, entrepreneur, and live music advocate with a passion for bringing people together through shared experiences. She graduated cum laude from the University of Houston with a degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Radio-Television, launching her career in Houston as a reporter at The Houston Post, contributing to the Emmy Award–winning investigative unit and community-focused stories at KTRK-TV, and as one of the first account executives for what is now the largest PR/Media Relations firm in the Southwest.

With no formal background in the music industry but a strong drive to succeed, Florian built a reputation booking and promoting live music, eventually founding Florian Raqueño Productions. Her company connects artists, venues, and communities while producing accessible, often free, music events and festivals. She is also the co-owner of Glorie Cookies, a gourmet cookie company focused on clean, preservative-free ingredients. Florian serves on the Beaverton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Born in the Philippines and raised in coastal cities as the daughter of a Navy veteran, Florian developed a deep appreciation for culture, travel, and community. A devoted mother of two, she credits her family, faith, and supportive network for her positive, can-do outlook. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring food and wine, fashion, and spending time with loved ones.
