OMHOF Announces 2026 Inductees and Scholarship Winners

The Oregon Music Hall of Fame revealed its 2026 class at a July press event in Portland, and it's a wide-ranging group that spans punk radio, roots rock, heavy music, and one very large hospitality company.

2026 Inductees: Brandon Lieberman, Jack McMahon, Michael Kearsey, Sweaty Nipples, Kelly Halliburton, McMenamins, Calobo, Red Fang, Steve Berlin, M. Ward, and Modest Mouse.

Album of the Year: Glitterfox, decoder

Artist of the Year: The Decemberists

OMHOF also introduced this year's scholarship recipients, all Oregon high school students headed toward college music study: Liam Andrews (marimba, Mountainside HS, Beaverton), Alexandra Brookfield (viola, Wilsonville HS), Charan Loprinzi (violin and trumpet, Baker Early College), and Leonard Trajano (violin, Glencoe HS). The Women in Music scholarship went to Eden Choi (violin, Lake Oswego HS), the Music Teacher scholarship to Jacob Peizner (saxophone, Oregon Episcopal HS), and the Billy Hagen Memorial Scholarship to Emmanuel Badillo-Juarez (saxophone, Beaverton HS).

The 19th Annual OMHOF Induction and Concert takes place Saturday, October 10 at 7:00 pm at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, with performances by Steve Berlin, a Calobo reunion, and M. Ward, plus a live auction and Tony Starlight as emcee. General admission is $30 in advance, $35 at the door; VIP is $100 in advance.
